THE GARDEN CLUB OF VIRGINIA, through its Restoration Committee,
restores gardens and landscapes which are open to the public throughout
Virginia. More than three dozen sites have been restored since 1929. In an
effort to document historic gardens in private holdings, the Garden Club has
established a summer fellowship program through which measured drawings are
produced under the supervision of a professional landscape architect.
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited school of landscape
architecture and working toward an M.L.A. degree. To apply, write to:
Restoration Committee Chairman
The Garden Club of Virginia

The deadline for applications is February 1 of each year. The stipend for the three-month fellowship is $5,000, plus lodging expenses and travel to visit historic landscapes in Virginia.
