Beginning in February, a comprehensive guidebook providing descriptions of houses and gardens open, directions, ticket prices, and the names and telephone numbers of local tour organizers can be obtained by mailing a $6 donation to Historic Garden Week, 12 East Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23219. Guidebooks will also be available free of charge during Garden Week at properties open.

Guidebook information can also be accessed by tour name on the Schedule page of this site beginning in January.

Tickets

Tickets for tours will be available for online purchase on February 1, 2010 by accessing brownpapertickets.com.  Under “search,” enter Historic Garden Week, and all the tours offering advance sale tickets will be listed.  Ticket prices for tours range from $10 to $35 per event, and there will be a small service charge added to the tour price when buying advance tickets online. 

Expand your Historic Garden Week experience by purchasing a statewide pass for all of our beautiful tours, April 17-25.  Only $175 per person/$300 per couple. Instructions for purchasing the statewide pass will be posted here by February 15.

IMPORTANT:  When purchasing your tickets online, please print out your e-mail confirmation sheet and bring this to the first property that you visit on your Garden Week tour.  See Tour Policies below.

Internet ticket sales end 36 hours before each tour day.

Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the tour at any of the properties open and at designated information centers.  Bus groups may wish to make plans in advance.  Tickets for the James River Plantations will be sold at each plantation on tour day.
