Take a step back in time in Historic Clarke County, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley and close to the nation’s capital. The bucolic area consists mostly of horse and agricultural farms with roots back to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Many of the farms are in conservation easement, preserving the county’s rural character beloved by residents and visitors. Featured properties date from the 18th through the 20th century.
