Harrisonburg

Harrisonburg’s vibrant downtown district, a designated First Arts and Cultural District, First Culinary District of Virginia and award-winning Main Street Community is the foundation for this tour. Visitors will enjoy private homes and gardens, as well as the shops and restaurants that make up the downtown area. Showcasing historic homes and renovated houses, along with city gardens, visitors are encouraged to view outdoor projects around the Quilt Museum and the Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center completed by the local Garden Club of Virginia club, the Spotswood Garden Club, host of the Harrisonburg tour. Come for Historic Garden Week and spend the rest of the day exploring wineries, cideries, arboretum, or biking and hiking trails in this pastoral part of Virginia.
