Warrenton

Stone, water and mountain views characterize the terrain of Rappahannock County, located in the northern section of the state and only 25 miles from Warrenton. The Rappahannock River begins its long run to the ocean in this scenic area of Virginia. Native Americans crossed and re-crossed the river leaving evidence of their trading. Apple orchards have been replaced by vineyards, woodlands open onto hay fields, and pastures with horses and cattle attest to the enduring agricultural nature of the area. All of the featured private properties enjoy views of the rolling hills that terminate in the undulating Blue Ridge mountains.
